Improving upon the ground breaking progressive centre of gravity design concept originally introduced with the SM8, the new Titleist Vokey Design SM9 Spin Milled Wedges push the envelope further, with even more innovation. And its clear that the SM9 is a true standout, as evidenced by the fact that is has already become the most played wedge on Tour. By adding weight to the top line design, where a tapered pad at the back of the toe helps align the CG properly, the SM9s raised centre of gravity produces a more controlled ball flight and solid contact. The center of gravity is also forward of the face, resulting in increased MOI, exceptional feel and stability, and a club face that simply wants to square up at impact. In addition to the new CG position, the SM9 features a new patented Spin Milled process that maximizes spin and shot control. The meticulous engineering process begins by cutting the face perfectly flat with a high-speed saw, then cutting every groove individually based on loft and finish. Low lofts are designed with narrower, deeper grooves, while higher lofts have wider, shallower grooves. Micro-grooves are individually cut in between the grooves as well, leading to maximum spin on partial shots, a crucial element to successful greenside play. As if the performance gains werent enough, Vokey applies a proprietary heat treatment to the impact area, doubling the grooves durability, without impacting feel. In fact, the SM9 possess the most durable grooves in golf. Finally, each groove on every head is 100% inspected for conformity to the rules of golf.
The mix of grinds in your Vokey wedges is the key to creating the ultimate optionally in your shot making. For every shot, every lie, every course, there’s a grind fi for your swing.
For precise players and firm conditions.
For players who like to manufacture shots around the green.
For players preferring a full sole for full shots.
For players who prefer square faced shots with a simple technique.
For players with a steeper angle of attack.
For players requiring forgiveness in a wide, full sole.
Vokey recommends 4-6 of loft separation between wedges. This result in more stock swings, producing better results.
Once the gap fitting is complete, hit all the grinds within the prescribed loft side by side. Focusing on swing type (Sweeper/Digger) and course conditions (Firm/Soft). The first bounce and grind test is for full swings.
Choose wedges that complement once another and are capable of unique shots. Vokey like to recommend a higher bounce sand wedge and a lower bounce lob wedge as a general thought. This prepares a player for multiple shots and conditions.
AER SteelFiber i110cw (EX)is the perfect transition into a lighter weight shaft which allows a player to see some good improvement in distance and vibration reduction while maintaining pinpoint accuracy and incredibly consistent distance control.
AER SteelFiber i80cw (EX)A steel hoop wind incorporated in the shaft increases the dimensional stability during the swing. The high modulus graphite core for increased club head speed and an advanced steel fiber surface layer for stability help redefine golf shaft construction.
AER SteelFiber i95cw (EX)Players that are sensitive to weight reduction in their irons golf shafts choose the Tour Winning SteelFiber i110 so they can take advantage of the accuracy, consistency and vibration dampening of the SteelFiber shaft while maintaining a similar ball flight to a much heavier steel shaft.

KBS S TaperEngineered to provide superior feel while maintaining shot workability for players seeking a mid-launch and low to mid spin shaft.Shares the same bend profile as the KBS Tour shafts only with elongated step patterns to control spin, generating stable performance throughout the swing.
KBS S-Taper Liteprovides KBS signature superior feel while maintaining shot workability and tight dispersion for players seeking the ultimate tour shaft with mid/high trajectory and low/mid spin performance in a lighter weight performance frame.
KBS 610 WedgeThis wedge-specific shaft allows skilled players to produce knock-down and other workable shots into and around the green.
KBS HI-REV 2.0features an active tip section that increases the effective loft of the club head, delivering a higher ball launch with more spin for added stopping power and accuracy.
KBS Tourprogressive weight steel shafts are engineered with moment of inertia analysis to increase stability. With a mid/high flex point, these shafts generate a penetrating ball flight and low to mid spin. The higher balance point produces lower swing weights.
KBS Tour 105fills a weight and performance gap between KBS Tour and KBS Tour 90, while sharing their moment of inertia engineering design. With a mid/high flex point, Tour 105 generates low/mid ball flight and spin. A higher balance point produces lower swing weights.
KBS Tour 90is the lightest KBS shaft. It is engineered with moment of inertia analysis to increase stability like KBS Tour. With a mid flex point, Tour 90 generates mid ball flight and mid spin. It also has a very high balance point which produces much lighter swing weights.
KBS Tour FLTis a performance evolution of the standard KBS Tour. The long irons are softened slightly to promote higher flight which can increase distance and improve gapping. The short irons are stiffened slightly to promote lower flight and better control. The higher balance points produce lower club swingweight.
KBS Tour Vis the newest KBS stepped shaft design. Though 10 grams lighter than KBS Tour, Tour V seeks to maintain similar flight characteristics. This is accomplished with a firmer tip section. It also has a high balance point which produces lower swing weights.
